Cueponi

This ceremony graduates children from the Bambino rank into an adulthood rank, thus accepting them as a contributing member of Salsola. The youth chooses when to engage in this ritual -- there is no age at which a Bambino must engage in the Cueponi ceremony, though it may not be performed until the child is capable of shifting.

After expressing their eagerness to complete their Cueponi rite, a youth is summoned by the Boss, who oversees this ceremony. This is intended to form a bond between the two, and ensure loyalty to both Salsola and its Boss. The Boss must bodily inspect the Bambino, and ascertain their ability to shift into Optime form (which is associated with adulthood and capability). Should they find the youth acceptable, the leader grants them with a task to prove their worth.

Failure of this task results in their relegation to the Associate ranks; successful completion of the task results in their promotion to the Family ranks.

The task granted for the Cueponi ceremony is itself shrouded in riddle, and requires the hopeful adult to deduce the meaning of the phrase before attempting the task itself. The riddles have multiple answers and are solvable in multiple ways.

These are a few of the possible riddles your young Bambino can use to graduate into the adult ranks. The Cueponi ceremony needn't necessarily be played out in its entirety, though this is encouraged - OOC assumptions can be made, though we require they be approved by the leadership.

Members of Salsola should PM the Salsola Pack Account to discuss the Cueponi Ceremony for any Bambino characters whenever they choose to advance to Salsola’s adult ranks.
